It’s hard to believe that Bobby and I toured Maimonides 12 years ago. In those 12 years- our kids literally grew up, I went back to teaching after having taken off some time to be with my babies, and I am beyond grateful to have more recently joined the administration as I get to be part of the talented, warm, and most committed leadership team we chose for our family all those years ago.

The joy, learning, camaraderie, and values that are imbued at Maimonides make me feel proud on a regular basis. Spending time with the 8th graders who we have watched grow into B’nei and B’not Torah, who are fun loving- yet incredibly respectful and (mostly ;) mature is the best Nachat of all.

There were moments this year that I thought might lead me to taking some time off in the future. Navigating through the pandemic was exhausting. I have to say, though, once cases numbers started dropping and we were able to bring everyone back on campus full time- the passion and joy our team gets from this work came right back as though it never left. There is no group of people I would rather fight for and work with!

Please help me continue to nurture students, families, and faculty in this most special environment!
